So Jimbo ain't even coaching y'alls last cupcake game?

Whats the deal here, he see the writing on the wall and took the money and run?
Too volitale of a situation with the fans and his buyout is more expensive for aTm after the season ends (iirc).

Jimbo just hasn't been the same since his divorce...he needs a fresh start...just wish he'd have handled his exit better.

Is anyone questioning how he coached vs UF you lurking dolt?

FSU #'s...Igloo...hardliner....take this idgit back to where he came from.

Nobody on here will deny we have sucked under Muschamp and McElwain.

Urban owned FSU...Jimbo owned UF. Have a cookie Elmo.
Jimbo owned Urban. I like that his last game was a victory in the swamp for the fourth straight time. It tasted good.

Owned him? Wasn't it like a 1-0 record?

No excuses but against John Brantley as QB.
Urban never has beat him period. BTW, many of you guys thought John Cantly was a better passer than Tebow. So, he was ahead of Cam Newton on the depth chart. I guess Urban agreed.

It was the right call.

Things got a little testy over the last few days. It would have been an embarrassment to the school if Jimbo walked out onto the field, only to be greeted by a chorus of boos and fans making insults.

I simply don’t see him having the success TAMU expects.

All he had to worry about in the ACC was Clemson. Now he has to worry about Bama, Auburn and LSU, not to mention whomever Arkansas goes with and if Miss State remains a solid program instead of the bottom dweller it was pre-Mullen.

That was true a few years ago. Now Miami is good again and Louisville is an annual game. Not to mention Florida and whoever the big out-of-conference opponent is for that season that FSU traditionally schedules.

That was my point.

Despite his lack of competition, he still only really had two great years. And those were before Clemson became the Clemson of the past 3 years.

I don’t think he’s going to be awful, but I think he’s going to bring about the same success that Sumlin had, which obviously wasn’t good enough.

Might sneak into a conference title, but again, TAMU seems to think they’re a program that should be vying for he national title most of the time.

It’s possible he’s hitting this at the exact right time.

Ole Miss is going to have serious trouble getting back after these sanctions.

Miss State could fall back to sub .500 team

Arkansas may continue to be a middling team.

Auburn will likely continue to be a 3-4 loss a year on average team.

LSU will have plenty of talent but no one really expects Orgeron to make them more than what they were this year.

Missouri is just a rough program all around

And with Saban getting older, who knows how that’s going to play out in the coming years. They’ve had a decade long string of absurd success, eventually that will collapse.

No offense to Jimbo or anyone here...but sadgator agrees that it is highly unlikely he will have the expected high level of success at A&M. sadgator would totally have stayed at FSU if he was Jimbo...just a better situation ISO.

That being said, you only go around on this planet once (unless you are insta), so if Jimbo wanted to cash in on lotto money, sadgator certainly can’t blame him...but there is no way A&M is a better job than FSU...it just isn’t.

They'll reach under the couch cushions for $75 million in spare change that fell under and send him on his way. Those oil guys make FSU boosters look like the Sisters of the Poor.
