Rivalry game. Week 0. It happens. Hopefully it improves.

The refs were tough. I won't say they were horrible, but they were definitely used to the Big 12, where teams don't have their DB's guard WR's, so the refs didn't know how to react to seeing them touch each other.

Worst part of their calls was the number of holds they missed. But they may have been trying to keep the Miami QB alive.

Those refs were bad on both sides. They f*cked both us at Miami at critical times. But even with that said we also earned more than our fair share of some of those penalties doing stupid shit. Undisciplined mess. Just glad we won.

I'll certainly take the win, the performance was a let down and hopefully we clean it up. At least we know that our guys aren't going to quit.

I agree - the refs were bad on both sides. This wasn't The Swindle...just bad.
