RIP, SGT Richard "SemperFiNole" Williams. Gone too soon, but never forgotten.

Also, SSGT Fred Sames, cancer, and LCPL Brian Tew, killed by drunken Tennessee fans after the annual beatdown.
He got into a fight with FOUR guys, three high school wrestlers and their COACH.I had forgot about that Brian Tew death and looked it up. Apparently he actually sustained the injuries that led to his death the very early morning before the game and I think it said the guy charged was from another county in FL or that is where they caught him later anyway. UF's statement said they could find no link to the Tennessee game for his death. Sounds like he got in a fight at an apartment complex and the other guys went too far.

He didn't die til after the game, his mother flew down from New York just in time for him to die.
I was at his funeral, I was at their trial, and when two of them turned up at my prison, I spread the word, amongst officers and inmates. Once a Marine, always a Marine, even in prison.
We got ours.
They were from Baker county, and they were there for the game. The Coach was an adult, I believe he was sentenced as an adult to aggravated manslaughter? and of the remaining three, two were 18 and one was a minor so the two 18 years went to UCI for manslaughter and the minor went to Lancaster CI, don't recall the charge. Were they Tennessee fans or in the area the night before for another reason? Do you know what the people ended up being sentenced to?
Crazy stuff. I had an incident years ago where I foolishly decided to fight a guy at a bar that was there with friends and I had no backup with me. Well the friend ended up assisting him and that allowed him to get me in a headlock from the front and then things blacked out for me. A girl with the group had started field goal kicking me in the head a bunch of times I found out later. If it would have been the friend of his instead I would probably have either ended up dead or brain damaged some. Luckily her kicks caught my cheek and on top of the head mostly or I would have got some hairline type fractures in the eye or jaw area probably. Never went to the doctor but was swelled up bad for a few weeks and dizzy feeling for about a week. They were from Baker county, and they were there for the game. You're right, you don't have someone, you have infinitely better than that, you have the ALLONE, the one and only God, Jesus, Holy Spirit ready, willing, and able 24/7/365 to love, cherish, fight for you, and defend you. All ya gotta do is dial him up with your heart and soul and voila, presto, bing, bang, boom you're set with the best peace and love you've ever had in your life. ❤🔥Brian's death, to me, was senseless in the most painful definition of the word. Had I been there, I would have gladly gone down fighting in his place.
There's two types of wolves in this world. Natal pack wolves, like Brian, who are well loved and respected. He was going to be somebody, and the world is a sorrier place with his passing.
I am a dispersed wolf, one who was chased from his pack or left of his own accord to be an outrider. I am nobody and have no one, and dying for one of my brothers would be a fitting end for me.
