Was he the one that got hurt in the bowl game? How's he doing?
Justin Shorter update: Florida releases statement from wide receiver’s family
Justin Shorter is recovering from a scary incident.www.saturdaydownsouth.com
Only if we find him some help. I don't think he can be a consistent #1, but if we can find a #1 he would make a solid #2.I think the best news is that he is able to come back and the injury wasn’t as bad as it looked. That said, Shorter is a kid who always plays hard and shows a lot of effort. I think he has a chance to do some nice things next year
Shorter, Whittemore, Gamble, Elam, and Brenton Cox are the ones who stood out as wanting to play that game. I'm sure I missed a few but also seen a few 1/2 arses.one of the few guys that played hard and played well in the bowl game. Glad to have him back.
Hopper was arguably our best player and all over the field before he got ejected.Shorter, Whittemore, Gamble, Elam, and Brenton Cox are the ones who stood out as wanting to play that game. I'm sure I missed a few but also seen a few 1/2 arses.

I just hate it the coaches didn't give any effort to even attempt to want to win. Glad all of those jerks are gone.I thought Torrance played well.
I wonder if they purposefully played it this way to keep the players from opting out en masse. They were tasked with coaching the game, and if the only way they could field a team was to sell it to the players that this was going to be a party in Tampa they didn't want to miss, then I can see this being the result. Better to play and lose than be the coaches that had your entire team opt out of the bowl. Losing to UCF puts egg on UF's face, but having the team opt out as a group would have been far worse.I just hate it the coaches didn't give any effort to even attempt to want to win. Too many coaches and players (not all mind you) just didn’t GAS.I wonder if they purposefully played it this way to keep the players from opting out en masse. Do I know this is what happened? I do not. However, these ARE professional coaches, they know how to coach and gameplan. Heck, Knox was the interim at MSU after Mullen left to come to UF, and he coached them to a win in their bowl game against Louisville. So he knows how to do it.
I was really mad at the coaches after the game, finding out the lack of practices, etc. But now I wonder if they did the best they could with a really, really shit hand.
Many thanks to Mullen for fostering that tremendous culture.Too many coaches and players (not all mind you) just didn’t GAS.
Really poor culture put together with both coaches and players if that would have been the case. I'm currently watching a 6-6 Texas Tech team with an interim coach going balls to the wall trying to win a mid tier bowl game.I wonder if they purposefully played it this way to keep the players from opting out en masse. Sounds like a culture thing. Taking pride in representing your school.Really poor culture put together with both coaches and players if that would have been the case. I'm currently watching a 6-6 Texas Tech team with an interim coach going balls to the wall trying to win a mid tier bowl game.
I'm not sure what they did over there compared to what we did. TT only had two opt outs.
