Hearing that Oklahoma assistant head coach Shane Beamer, is the new Head Cock, is better than reading Florida Gators offensive coordinator Brian Johnson has accepted the Carolina's head coaching job.

Big 12 / Oklahoma not known for defense; shoot-outs more entertaining than a 14-10 defensive struggle.

Oklahoma (7-2, 6-2) offensive stats pretty good - 43.44 pts / game etc.

I could see Freeze at Texas. I don’t think Meyer takes that job. Too much to rebuild there. I could see Freeze at VaTech as well. I have to wonder if the stank of UT’s last comical coaching search has worn off yet. They had better make sure they have a sure thing before they pull the trigger again.
