This is seriously important. I can say that my son has no siblings, is high-functioning autistic, is lonely and depressed and was actually telling us he'd thought about suicide (this happened after the school board in our home town decided to postpone opening for 2 more weeks). Kids MUST go to school.

Just curious, though. What will you do if someone in his class tests positive. Would you not be worried? Will you continue to send him to school?

I will be similarly worried as I would be if someone in my child's class had the flu last year. More worried because it's more contagious, less worried because Covid-19 seems to affect children less than the common flu does.

Then again, we're certainly taking more precautions than we usually do with the flu.
