BTW last week when the DNC was on, Twitter had live video of it streaming at the top of your home feed on the mobile app, so you couldn't miss it.
They aren't doing that for the RNC.
Last week I checked when Sally Yates was speaking, her stream had 4.6k viewers. With it being promoted on every user's home feed on the mobile app.
I just checked and the RNC is currently getting 12.7k viewers, three times more than the DNC, and it's not on the home feed.

Some last night used the typical political talking points but man some were fantastic. I even loved what that couple had to say that was hounded for defending their own home. Yes, it was a great night.
I hated her speech, to be honest. She was acting like she was talking to a live crowd that was pumped and it really disconnected.
Most of the other speakers I saw were really good. Tim Scott's line about his family going from 'cotton to congress in one lifetime' was very powerful. Can't do that as a dem.
LMAO! So when a dem has a meltdown talking about the difference between the DNC and RNC after ONE NIGHT, I think it's a safe bet the dems know they are dead in the water.

I guess to each his own. I'm glad she did what she did because for me sitting at home continually hearing the same monotone speeches, even though packed with greatness, left me wanting more. When she finished I wanted to stand up and cheer.

When audience is varied, it's best to vary your speakers and their presentations.
As a group of speakers, I remarked to by bride of 46 years, that the Rats just took a serious ASS-KICKIN over the Pubs 1st night. When Mr. Maximo Alvarze spoke, I almost got misty eyed.

He did too. Then he finished and took a step back. You could tell he was sincere and out of his element, but presented a great speech.
Tim Scott's speech was also a deep home run hit imo.
