Rivals is debating which is a better job, Maryland or South Carolina.
I myself think it is Maryland.
They are in a pretty good region talent wise (can draw from Maryland, DC and Virginia and even close to Philly).
When everyone is at the top of their game, the Gamecocks are probably no better than the fourth best program in the East - behind Florida, Georgia and Tennessee. SC has to be on top of their game just to be in the top 2-3 in one division of their conference without a great recruiting base instate (yes, they can go into the Peach State somewhat).
If I was a top coach and had my choice, I say Maryland, where would you go?
