I wasn't born till 7 years after the series ended, but sure enjoyed watching it before and after school growing up in Norfolk for 3 years.

I could never get enough of Lumpy(Clarence Rutherford) and his dad.

The character of Eddie Haskell was a cultural icon. Loved watching replays of that show on TBS after school as a kid. RIP.

I remember racing home from school to watch reruns of Leave it to Beaver. Eddie Haskell reminded me of one of my buddies. Great family show. I still watch Andy Griffith Show. I have actually considered buying property in the Mt. Airy area where that show is based on. It is a real hidden gem in North Carolina. Only 45 minutes from Winston Salem on the interstate. I think it’s going to a boom area for the future.
