This is what bothers me the most. Main stream media doesn’t care and a large portion of Americans don’t care because it felt like the end justified that means.
Had there been actual evidence it wouldn't have gone like this. But there is none.
Some guy comparing 2020 mail in ballots to 2016 election results and saying Biden couldn't have won, that's not evidence. It's not even statistics.
A claim that some guy saw boxes of ballots at a poll counting place, that's not evidence. Besides being hearsay, that's where boxes of ballots belong. At the counting places. So they can be counted. And if they were al for Biden, so what? You think nobody ever got the idea to separate the ballots into separate boxes to make counting easier? If I were counting, I would have separated them, then paperclipped them in groups of 10. Make the counting simple. Having boxes of ballots of any caliber is not proof of fraud.
A claim that a van pulled up at night and dropped off ballots is not evidence. Besides being hearsay, the post office was collecting ballots and taking them to the polling places to be counted. Having ballots delivered is not proof of fraud.
A claim of a water pipe bursting during counting in Fulton County is not evidence of fraud. There being no work order is not evidence of fraud. At most, it's evidence that Fulton County needs to tighten up their internal controls on the maintenance department and make certain they are writing tickets for work done. That's the only evidence of anything out of order.
A claim that the voting machines were fraudulent is not evidence. A demand that voting machines be audited where no fraud has been found is not reasonable. The simple fact that the paper recounts where the machines were located yielded the same results. That's better than any audit. And we do know that some machines were audited, that was discussed on this board. And no fraud was found, only outdated software, which is not evidence of fraud.
What's happening is the lot of you are projecting your desires onto minor incidents that could have 20 different explanations, and happen during every election, but because Trump was trying to steal the election, he was taking any minor occurrence he could find and claiming it was proof of fraud. And none of you were or are willing to use your brains for 10 seconds to critically think about the information provided and what it might really mean or the variety of other explanations that could be available. But the judges did, and that's why all the suits were thrown out. Because judges can critically think, and they realized that all of that together equated to a big nothing burger.
As to the other, the idea that only legislatures can make the rules for elections, that's true to a point. After all, if the state legislatures had absolute power over elections, then a Republican controlled legislature could make a rule that only Republican votes would be counted. That's what absolute power means right? You can do anything. But that doesn't happen, because it would run counter to the state's constitution, which is interpreted by the Supreme Court, and so the State Supreme Court would throw out that rule. Right there we have proof that the legislature does not have absolute power, that the State Supreme Court has the right to intervene. And that's why the legislative complaints were ignored by all levels of judiciary, right up to SCOTUS.
And yes, I know, this falls on deaf ears. But the crew in here is far far right fringe, mainstream Republicans don't think like you do in here. Well, a little, but not to your extreme. So don't be surprised when Biden settles in as President and everything returns to normal. Oh wait, yes some will be surprised, because they think we will all be forced to learn Mandarin. Lulz.
