One thing that's always puzzled me -- and admittedly, I've never played the position, so I'm coming at this completely ignorant. But my question is this...
Why are the O-line tackles always so massive?
For instance, Sharpe is 355 pounds.
Yet, all the DE's seem to be 100 pounds lighter. And you would think 100 x's faster and quicker. Why wouldn't you want someone a bit thinner and quicker on the edges to match the DE's?
Anyone know?
