The D-I Council has proposed a few rules changes with regards to college football and college football recruiting.

* Limit Satellite Camps. This summer schools could hold as many camps as they could fit in during two 15 day periods. The new proposal would limit the camps to 10 days total - and the 10 days would have to be consecutive days.

* Camps can only be held on NCAA member institution campuses. No going to high schools or the local play ground.

* Another proposal is to add two early signing periods for football. One in June and one in December to go along with the one in February.

* Expanding staffs from nine full-time assistant coaching positions to 10.

These rules have been proposed by the D-I Council, they haven't been voted on or implemented yet.
