I think the hard part to take is the massive regression of the offense. Coming into the season, we did not expect much, we just wanted to see improvement, and see us headed in the right direction. For most of the season we far exceeded expectations, we found ourselves way ahead of schedule in the rebuilding process. Now, with the way we are finishing the season it is discouraging, it makes us question everything, including Mac.

But we must take everything into perspective, we must remember where we were under Mus. Do not forget the dire statements of how depleted of talent the roster was, of how many here predicted several years were needed to right the ship. So, just like meatchicken, we made some huge strides very quickly, and just like them, we are disappointed after a beating by our rival, but also like them, the future is bright...this was not a season of some fluke-ish wins, and some smoke and mirrors like Mus' first season, this is just the beginning of something great. No program that is great now got there without taking their lumps; heck even Saban got embarrassed early on in Bama.

So in conclusion, despite the setbacks, despite the embarrassment of getting destroyed by the sorry azz noles, our future is bright, and it is Great To Be A Florida Gator!

To me the worst part is looking back now and thinking "What could of been". Yes we were in a "rebuilding year" but I said before the season I wouldn't be surprised if this team won 10 games just for the fact we had a offensive coach. we should of won 10 last year with a terrible offense and no offensive coach. If Grier wouldn't of done something stupid, then going into the FSU game we are 11-0 IMO. Idk if we win the FSU game with Grier but I know we are in it at the end. In the end I am happy with what we have done this year and where we are going. As far as Mac goes, I think its hard to question him. He is putting a great recruiting class together, and I know its easy to say "Well he is the coach and he should have done something about the way Treon has played". IMO I think its past the part of Mac. For the most part the play calling has been good. Receivers are open, touchdowns are there for the taking, but Mac cant make Treon make the right throws or make good throws. Personally I would like for Mac to put Grady in, it cant get any worse, but Treon is all he has. Next year Franks will be the starter at the beginning of the season and we will deal with his freshman growing pains, and depending on how he plays depends on what happens when Grier gets back, but it will be better then having to deal with Treons inability pains.
