It wouldn't have made a difference whether or not the President showed up in El Paso to comfort the surviving victims. Had he listened to Beto, and whoever it was in El Paso that told him not to bother visiting their town, every person on the liberal side would have been non stop trashing Trump by trying to prove he went from racist to white nationalist and would have trashed his sensitivity as well.
