Agree with OP. With the way this game is likely to play out, this is horrible timing for a discussion about guns.
Well, I'm sick of the clueless, gun control idiot Libs, running their ignorant mouths about what the U.S. Constitution guarantees to it's law abiding citizens.
Oh BTW, for anyone who doesn't already know, the Constitution is a government limiting document, it does not 'give' any sovereign citizen their 'God given right' to self protection.
If ANYONE abuses their self protection rights, then that's what the police and the courts are for. You don't remove the rights of the law abiding citizens, you punish the guilty instead.
Failures are due to the ineptness of the police, the courts, and the government, brought on by the ignorance of the voting citizens, not the so-called 'gun toting' law abiding citizens.
Also, no government, nor any laws that they make, can ever remove my God given right to self protection.
