My first son is almost 3 years old now and even though we live in Virginia he's been raised a Gator of course. He first said "dada" while pointing at a Gators logo on my wife's shirt. He's struggled with football season this year because he likes to be outside and if watching TV he won't watch much else than a show on Netflix called Tayo. During the Tennessee game I had to tell him that we wouldn't be watching Tayo, but would be watching a lot of "Tayo Trask" and that seemed to work for a few minutes but that was it. Tonight, out of nowhere, since he hasn't seen any games since the Tennessee game, he picked up a toy football and rifled it at me, and said "Look, I'm Tayo Trask!" He followed this up by running full speed at me and trying to tackle me, and said "I'm a Gator!" It was my finest moment as a dad, and I think my work is done. Just wanted to share.
