OT: For those who remember the canes fan “roody.”

I debated bringing this up, but some of us old timers may remember a cane named roody that used to post here.

He and I formed a great alliance fighting against He Who Shall Not Be Named.

Most around here considered him a good guy, pretty funny, and level headed. We embraced him as part of the family here (back in the day when thenpersoanlity of Swami and GG etc formed the culture of the board).

Anyway, his wife passed away last week after a long, hard battle with illness.


So, I just wanted to mention that. Don’t know why, but thought some who remember him may want to send up some good thoughts for him and his kids.

Life is beautiful and great ,but also stunningly sudden and cruel.

Sad to hear of a passing. I don't know Roody, but I wish him and his family all the best.
