I think Oklahoma probably wins this game now. I know we have Trask playing against a redshirt freshman at QB but not having Pitts and Toney will make this passing offense a lot easier to defend. Will probably be a situation like when Michigan's defense looked like trash against us in that bowl game when they had those top players skip the bowl. If we win it will be a real close one probably.

Why would anyone "redshirt" this season? Without the exception of it being a true injury.

Jordan Pouncey has played in a few games this season. Missouri, UGA, and UT games.

We will have some that step up and will do well. Around 260 yards well. We need 330 yards well to beat a team like OU because our defense is wet gas station toilet paper.

The young guys have a bright future, however none of them have the play making ability that Toney or Pitts give. Grimes is also a special talent. Combine all 3 and thats hard to replace.

It’s kind of hard to replace a Pitts, Toney, Grimes and Copeland on a whim for 1 game after playing an entire season with those 4. Much easier to replace a group after having the spring and summer to practice and prepare together.

If Kyle Trask passes for over 300 yards, 3 TD's and only 1 INT with basically a new recieving Corp...he damn well deserves the Heisman and his stock should rise to top 10 draft pick.

I think Pitts and Toney cause major headaches for a defense that will cause a significant dropoff even having Trask over a redshirt freshman. We could win but just doubt it happens now - especially with our defense.

Had a bad feeling before the A&M game this year and though it might not be a good result. Posted that here before the game. This game is about missing our 2 big playmakers on offense. The effort will be there but not sure we produce enough points if we get a poor defensive showing again.

We have plenty of offense to keep up with them. Pitts makes this whole team much better, and Toney is a threat of a big play when he touches the ball, but we have very solid receivers. I’d feel a little worse if we didn’t have such a great qb. We might lose but it’s not a mismatch

If you lose it’ll be like all your losses. Dan Mullen has proven to be one of the best play callers in the country. It is Spurrieresque. But your offense has zero support from the D. If you lose you’ll be in the 30s to 40s and Oklahoma will be in the 40s to 50s.

We have played(and won) games this year with Pitts in shorts. We won numerous games last year with Toney sidelined.

However with BOTH out plus Copeland and Grimes it will be tougher. Interested in seeing what we have and how Mullen will adjust.
