“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration today
announced it is proposing a change from time-based deferrals to assessing blood donor eligibility using gender-inclusive, individual risk-based questions to reduce the risk of transfusion-transmitted HIV,” the agency said in a Friday statement.

The new guidelines state that time-based deferrals for men who have sex with men [MSM] and women who have sex with MSM would be eliminated."

Mind you this is a draft. But even the alphabet community agrees that this group is most at risk.

It is insanity in addition to potentially lethal to take this action where the donor blood pool is concerned in order not to hurt people's feelings. I can't give blood until I go a year without getting a tattoo and since that's never happened I understand that I can't donate blood and get the eff over it.

Yeah I'm going to be real confident of getting blood transfusions going forward. Eff this shit.

I have to donate monthly because my hemoglobin and hematocrit is always high from taking testosterone injections. UGH. Can I have that stored for myself, just in case I need it for a future operation?

Pretty sure you can. That's what I'd do. Time to start covering your own behind, screw the woke cucks that probably are getting it free. 😂
