Posting this without complete information - it sounds like a train derailed and the authorities decided to burn the monomer instead of risking it leaking into the water table. I MIGHT BE TOTALLY WRONG HERE, INFO IS SKETCH RIGHT NOW.

But I’m familiar with the base components of PVC. I was hired at my company to manage a PVC product line made by a vendor in 2011. I walked up to a production line on a tour of our vendor and an alarm went off. We were told to “run”. There were lines on the floor to follow. As soon as I was told my nose (and to a lesser extend) eyes started to burn. I couldn’t smell for two weeks and had to file a safety report with the vendor in case I had long term damage and insurance was to get involved.

When PVC burns (which is what happened in my case, the trim board got too hot) hydrochloric acid is emitted. Google it, that’s bad ish. I pray this isn’t what’s in the air 3-4 car hours from me (120-169 miles).

I’ll reserve any other comment until more info comes out, but this thread is what I’m going off of. Hopefully this isn’t true.

So yer saying, I need to get rid of my PVC bong? 😂

There will probably be a lot of health issues over this stuff in that area in the years to come. The MSM is trying to mostly ignore the story it seems.
I’m following this because it’s so close to me, the North Fork river is right down the road.

Right now it seems they did the burn off because cleanup was going to take too long - they wanted the railway open for commerce.

If that turns out to be true, holy crap…

So that possible explosions mess was nonsense? I think that is why they claimed they burned it.

You seem to be cursed with mess like this lately between the vaccine and this. Does your water come from the rivers there?

This reminds me, in high school chemistry we were doing some project where we were supposed to pour some heavily diluted acid into a beaker or something. I was doing it and of course my clumsy ass spilled it everywhere.

But as soon as it hit the counter, it immediately started smoking. And my dumbass went 'Whoa' and had to immediately stick my nose in it. I immediately got lightheaded. Turns out the teacher's assistant had forgotten to dilute the acid and it was pure acid I had spilled, and smelled. I can only imagine what a massive spill was like.

You know how I know masks don’t work?

Have you seen anyone near the derailment force everyone to mask up?

I just watched Tucker Carlson for this first time in a while. He mentioned something similar. But what's crazy Fauchi just commented on the noxious release and said "don't worry too much about it".
