At this point, I’d really like to know if the same charges are being brought against the people in Portland for the same crimes? I don’t care if they’re doing it at night or broad daylight, destruction of federal property is destruction of federal property. A crime is a crime, is it not?

I’m fully aware of the double standard and even the place where the crime is committed. However, a federal building in DC is no different than a federal building in Portland.

If the same charges aren’t be brought against the people in Portland then by all means do exactly what I’ve been preaching since it all started, let Portland burn to the ground, they deserve it if they will not stop it. They get no sympathy from me and electing incompetent people for decades is their problem.

Also food for thought, if this were about protecting police from this happening again, which incident injured more police, the summer of 2020 riots or jan 6? Then ask yourself, which one is congress investigating.
