Announced he's transferring today.

Kind of odd really. I thought he would transfer a couple of years ago and him transferring and not jumping to the NFL is also a surprise.

He wouldn't be a high pick by any means but I've seen stranger decisions made by less talented players before.

He was leaving UF no matter who the coach is/was. Talented played but….. Best of luck to him.

I'm ignorant on his specific grievances, but it's hard to believe he would improve his draft stock elsewhere. His receptions dramatically increased compared to the previous two years, almost doubled from last year and tripled from the year before that. This coming year, with a lack of stud wrs, it would probably increase even further.

Then again Napier does have a history of slightly preferring to run, rather than pass.....so who knows really.

A Bama sweatshirt while wearing a Vols cap. I'm sure he'll fit in with another team that will be satisfied with his 2 drop passes per game average.

Not going to mess with him too bad as I think he may have been pretty good this year in the right situation. He is a really strong built receiver but with our offense this year it wasn't a good match. Wouldn't be shocked if he has a good season somewhere.

Hopefully his mom is happy with his decision. She wasnt the first time.

As a parent, that video is still heartbreaking for sadgator to watch…not sure how you can do something like that to your child…

…it is no wonder the poor young man has no sense of commitment…

best of luck to him in his life…

Dude he was a prima Donna from day one. He grumbled for 2 years on social about how he wasn't getting enough love.

He's a physical specimen but he has a lot of flaws as an actual high level player.

How many balls need to hit him in the hands before you realize that?

I swear to god you do t watch games you just look at stat lines and recruiting rankings.

C'mon, dude....don't be bitter about it. At the end of the day, we don't know these kids or everything that they've been through and are going through, both athletically and personally.

Let's not be like Oklahoma that acts like they take it personally as though their lives are ruined.

Copeland kept his nose clean and played with effort. At the end of the day, that's all I would have asked for before a coaching change. I'm proud he wore the uniform.

I mean....he thought very highly of himself...go check his Twitter for all the passive aggressive nonsense he put out from day one being here.

He thinks he's amazing because of his physical skills but the guy has so many flaws in his game it's embarrassing.

This is true, I was just trying to be nice by saying he never hit his potential.

I admit I don't use Twitter and I'm ignorant on what's said there, but I will take your word on it.

If Copeland does go to Tennessee as some rumors are suggesting he will probably produce a lot better numbers in that offense. Surprised he was our leading receiver this season.

NO wonder he's leaving, hell we dont throw him the ball. He will be a success at Tennessee if that's where he chooses to go.

Just threw it his way twice and got him killed on the second throw. If I'm Jacob I go tell Coach that I'm done as a Gator.

Time for some post season / off season bitching and whining I guess.... 😉

Would have helped to have a QB that can throw to the open man, even when he might be the 3-4 read.

(Fraziars 6-3 220 So & Henderson 6-3 195 So
Both need to work hard on skills set and improve to reach their potential)

These guys should have been used more.
WR Trent Wittemore 6-4 211 rsSo - a rock solid possession receiver.
WR Ja'Markis Weston 6-3 215 rsSo - barely saw the field
(coach them up Billy, and both can be stars in the making)
-----
WR Daejon Reynolds 6-2 205 Fr
WR Marcus Burke 6-4 187 Fr
====

While I'm on receivers:
TE Kemore Gamble 6-4 rsSr - 13 Gm 2021 starter
31 for 414 Yds, 4 TD's, L-47

TE Keon Zipperer 6-3 242 Jr - Needs to be moved to FB/HB.
11 for 133 Yds, 0 TD's, L-30 (marginal route runner with hands of stone)

Neither were ever anything but just average as blockers or as receivers.

Needed to be used more as TE's instead of just on the ST's imo:

TE/ST Jonathan Odom 6-5 240 rsFr - 8 Gms ST's, no stats
TE/ST Nick Elksnis 6-6 243 Fr - 4 Gms ST's, no stats
TE/ST Gage Wilcox 6-4 230 Fr - 2 Gms ST's, no stats
