So these jokers think we will beat the snot out of FSU and drop two spots? ROFL.

Ok.

Alabama
Clemson
Notre Dame
Georgia
Oklahoma
Ohio State
UCF

Would assume.

Texas beats OU
Alabama beats Georgia
UCF beats Memphis

Does UCF make playoff?

Curious about that myself if they don't keep Michigan in front of them.

Wild guess as of now

1. Bama
2. Clemson
3.ND
4. Georgia
5. OSU
6.Oklahoma
7. UCF
8. Michigan
9. LSU
10. Florida
11. Washington State
12. Penn State

Trying to think if there is any crazy scenario with the final games where we could possibly be left out of a New Year 6 bowl.

Texas or Northwestern winning automatically puts them in the Sugar and Rose Bowls while the losers would still be in. Also the Washington - Utah winner gets a Rose Bowl bid.

Also either UCF or Boise State will get a spot.

I guess if both Oklahoma and OSU lost whoever is ranked lower out of us and LSU could be left out.

These are the same guys that had a dude going unscripted with a selfie stick and sideways hat prognosticating about the upcoming season. They are on their way to replacing ESPN.

Let’s assume all that happens and UCF makes the final 4.

Then what?

The good news is, they will only have to try to defend Tua for 2 quarters...........because it will be 56-0 at halftime. They have no business on any field against Bama, uga, ND or OSU, unless it’s homecoming at one of those places.

I think they should go ahead and give them the chance if that crazy scenario happened. Maybe they aren't the same without that QB but they did beat the team that beat both Bama and Georgia last season. Maybe Memphis will beat them so they aren't in a big bowl game.

Let’s be clear. I think UCF is a fantastic team. Much the same way I think some high schools are great teams. Bama is great this year, but you can’t plug them into the NFL playoffs and expect them to win the super bowl.

It’s apples and oranges.

UCF has not, and cannot, put together a roster of Bama type players. There is as much parity in cfb now as there has ever been. But the top teams still enjoy a gigantic talent advantage.

But but but....UCF has beaten every team in front of them! Let's just give em a chance and see what happens!

Gag.

I see your point and know its a lot easier for a team like that to go undefeated but once they have a good couple of year run I don't have that big of problem with them getting in over a 2 loss team when they have shown they can beat a good Power 5 team. There was 2 years where if Boise State would have stayed at 1 loss or undefeated in those seasons they would have been a top 4 team most likely going into the bowls.

They are saying we could possibly get stuck playing Michigan in a bowl game if Oklahoma was chosen over OSU for the playoff. I might rather have a UCF matchup than that considering how we seem to always lose to Michigan.

Bit harsh. Alabama just beat Auburn by 30 plus, LSU by 29,Tennessee and Mississippi by about 50 each, yet somehow if Alabama beat UCF 41-17 that proves UCF was a fraud?

They don’t play in the MAC. And no, they do not play SEC level teams every week, but they are legitimate and should those other teams lose and they win, they will have earned it. And likely will end up losing by a similar margin to what OSU or OU would. Maybe more since they just lost their QB, as OU would struggle more without theirs.
