Was listening to Finebaum earlier and he said he thinks Cane fans have overtaken fsu as the most delusional fanbase. I almost ran into the ditch laughing.
Here's a national TV and radio guy confirming what all Gators have always known. In terms of delusion, fsu is the leader in the clubhouse. We'll see if the canes can catch them. In my opinion Miami if a distant second.

He has his moments. Some of the callers are entertaining. I don't listen very often and I've only seen his TV show once but I tend to like him on the other SEC network shows I've seen

Honestly the guy just does nothing for me...he's not interesting, IMO he doesn't make a very good points and he's a dork. I think that my knowledge of football is above average...certainly not an expert...but I typically think that I know more than he does a lot of the time. Also he should stay on the radio...guy's face shouldn't be on TV...lol...he looks like he should be in the hills of Kentucky making moon shine.

I think his specialty is pissing off fans. That's why the radio and TV execs like him. That's why he gets ratings. I've seen him on Saturday mornings on the SEC network though, Tebow, Marcus Spears, McElroy and all those guys act like they love him. So it's probably all an act to generate buzz. Limbaugh does a little of that also.

To catch FSU's fanbase in terms of delusions, the Canes would have to find or buy a fanbase first and foremost. Did you see how many showed up for their going away party for Al Golden? Half of the ones that DID show up were asleep in the stands or trying anything to ignore what was going on on the field itself.

7 guys living in the 1980's who run their rivals message board does not constitute a fanbase. You can't expect them to get a fanbase either when the stadium they play in for home games is a 45 minute bus ride from their campus.
