Need some help

I am having problem on this site only. Over the last few days, I can be posting and the screen will lock up for a few seconds, sometimes longer. I have to wait to type a few more words and then it does it again. Sometimes there will be a note that Chrome is not responding. My question is, why only on this site? Have I possibly hit the wrong button somewhere that wants to lock me out? I am not a techie so don't have the least idea where to start.looking. Thanks
