The left doesn’t even hide their disdain for America. TIME magazine “national correspondent” Charlotte Alter published a piece on Friday arguing that freedom of speech a white male obsession.

This is open Marxism. It is tyrannical. And it is everything the left stands for today.
Good news is no one reads that rag anymore

Wait,,, I thought that (Magnum) Quigley (before he became the NYC PC), shot that Hans (Snape) guy years ago down under.... 😁
I can't decide who I liked better, Sheriff Of Nottingham(the Kevin Costner Robin Hood) or Sheriff Of Rottingham(Robin Hood: Men In Tights), played by Roger Rees. May both RIP!

This isn’t new. Liberalism and the Left diverged years ago. That’s why Bill Maher, who is a true "liberal" in my opinion, is now deemed "right wing" by the Left.
The left, literally left many in the dem party behind. Most just haven’t paid close enough attention to realize it. They have completely lost their minds.

As for Maher, you are correct. His views, and mine (which I consider to be more conservative libertarian) are quite often very similar.

Yep I would argue you have many more conservatives now that question what the govt is up to no matter who is in there while most of the left seems to be fine with the govt/big media etc pulling mess as long as its pushing an agenda they agree with along with big media. Heck most have no problem with what took place during Russiagate with what our FBI pulled

I think the "white male obessesion" this liberal lunatic at TIME is confused with AMERICAN male obessesion. One that entails strong, passionate, iron-clad men like the kind that founded this country. Men from Abraham Lincoln to MLK are those strong patriots leftist liberals fear the most. They know they'll lose in a battle/war with us everytime. It's nothing but their last-ditch efforts to save their house-of-cards from falling.

What has happened is that Marxism/CRT that emerged in the late 60s/early 70s, informed the graduate students and in turn the bulk of the liberal arts faculty at these major/prestigious universities in the NE that the MSM recruits from. It is ingrained in their world view.

My father (died in 1977, when I was very young) was such a person, angered (with some justification) at the forever wars in SE Asia, open discrimination on campus (he was right, I saw this even in early nineties in the South) and believed (wrongly) that America could never over come it's series of "original sins", rich white, anglo-saxon (he was part Jewish) elites ran the country and only through class-consciousness could significant change come.

Now it has gone from a provocative thought to de rigueur line of thinking.

Matt Tiabi nailed it on the Megan Kelley show. There IS free speech that goes way too far such as Alex Jones. But let the courts handle it, and try to handle as much free speech and open dialogue as possible.

In turn, we, as Americans, should look to treat our fellow citizens with respect and dignity, even if their opinions differ from ours.

BTW, I think the same is true about Pelosi and Schumer. But since they're sellouts bent on retaining power at any cost, they'll spew any garbage required in that effort.
The (AOC) primary threat to Schumer is real and paired with fast shifting demographics has forced him to tack hard left across a range of issues. Pelosi is similar.

Pelosi has made (literally) a fortune off of the changes. No clue on Schumer.

People are evolving their awareness across the spectrum. A fascinating piece in Town & Country where kids (white, especially male) are finding that due to race aware admissions policies not just for historically dienfranched cohorts (slave descendents and indians) but for hispanics, their odds of getting into elite schools have fallen from challenging to infintesimal. They are realizing that they have aided and abetted this, and have had their "white guilt" played upon. (this was the article's thesis)

Fascinating changes.

It's just another "label" they make up to discredit someone/thing so they don't have to actually debate the merits of an issue.

The supremes have already decided what is allowed under free speech. Unless Alex Jones threatened to kill someone, or violated one of the other “low value” speech items they have defined, then he hasn’t done anything constitutionally wrong. Even hate speech is protected.

It must stay this way or else the Government could just institute a “minister of truth”…..oh wait.

And the same things go double for the RINO's and the GoP/McConnell that have failed to keep their campaign promises to the conservative leaning voters.

I've never liked 'The Donald' as a person, but I voted for him in 2016 because of corrupt, criminal, traitorous Hillary being the other choice. 'The Evil of two lessors' as it were....

However, in 2020 I voted for Turmp, not because of senile, corrupt, criminal, traitorous Brandon, but because Trump had kept (as much as he could with the constant Rat & MSDNC attacks) his campaign promises, and he stuck to the MAGA platform.

To be honest, in 2024, I'd rather see Jim Jordan win the Presidency, but I'd vote for Trump again if he was in the race as the Pub candidate, or if he was running Independent because he got screwed by the GoP....

I always enjoyed "The Donald" as a media figure (as did countless millions), but his ego, obsessive focus on loyalty and somewhat sloppy approach, led to many wanting Biden as a "safe pair of hands". That has certainly not happened - by anyone's definition.

Unless something remarkably changes, I will vote R in 2024. If Trump is the candidate, it will come with significant consternation and consideration.

We cannot, simply cannot, continue with what we are seeing today. A broad majority of Americans agree.

I'm similar in my Libertarian allegiance and Christian values mindset. Trump did mostly what he said he'd do and I truly believe he loves this country or else why take a chance at losing billions of dollars from angry people determined to ruin him. Biden or Hillary is incapable of doing the things Trump accomplished because they are weak people hiding behind the office instead of representing it.

I hope you were left behind as well. Not during the Rapture but where Bill and Elon are.
