He's actually said that multiple times. He thinks you need to keep doing it no matter how many times it fails because if it starts working by the end of the game, it was a good strategy. This is moronic. How many points do you leave on the board by not going with what is actually working. He's also one of those clowns that believes in balance for balance's sake.

Keep in mind Mullen, the offensive guru, has only had one top 10 offense as a head coach in his career in almost 11 years. Compare that to a true offensive guru like Lincoln Riley at Oklahoma that always has a top 5 offense.

Keep in mind Mullen has never won a conference or division title as a head coach. Without being under a coach named Meyer, Mullen has no real accomplishments at all.

Oh well, hopefully the next coach will be decent. I pray it doesn't take the AD another 9 years to figure out that Mullen is mediocre.

Please
you fair weather fans are a joke. He’s only 16-4 at Florida ( 80% ) and still has all our goals in front of him this year. Would you rather have Scott Frost ( Toasted by The Gophers today ), Chip Kelly or Wilkie Taggart?

Oh, and Mullen, the idiot who doesn't get basic strategy, punted on 4th an 1 on the 49 yard line. I guess he's never cracked a book on football statistics and strategy. Of course they scored a TD 5 plays later to this idiot's surprise, but that's just one of many mistakes Mullen the clown made. He's crowing about keeping the offense balance, even though that doesn't mean squat. Coaches are such retards.

You can't pass on every play. Have you ever watched football?

Mullen didn’t win a title of any sorts at the traditional SEC doormat Mississippi State, so he must suck. The logic is astounding.

Dan's a great HC. That said, I wouldn't mind him running the ball if he'd restrict his play calling to the running plays that actually work, and there are at least a few of them. o_O
