Now that first scrimmage is over and the film broken down, the coaches will sit down with the players unit by unit going over their performance and create a checklist of what each one has to work on this week in practice leading to next weeks scrimmage.
After next weeks scrimmage the depth chart will become solid and final "polishing" will take place in advance of last scrimmage. After that it is game week and installation of game plan and game week regimen.
This week is crucial in the learning process for the Freshman and young players fighting for playing time. They have to perform in practice this week or they will fall out of playing rotation and into scout team duties.
