Sheep as these cancellations continue, keep in mind that:

1 - These conferences decided weeks ago that it would be fine to have the season
2 - Conditions surrounding hoax flu have only IMPROVED since

This has nothing to do with public safety, it's all about peer and political pressure.

You guys asked for this when you pushed panic porn. Now you're having to deal with the fallout.

@bradleygator @sadgator @Nolec hope it was worth it, cause you guys own this.

It looks like the Big 10 is about to as well. If they cancel then it's done for everyone.

The Big 10 commish is offering to move the college football season to the spring as an alternative.

Let's remember...this is ALL predicated, we are told, on the SAFETY of the players.

What happens if you move the season to the Spring? That means the season ends likely in early to mid June.

What happens in early to mid June? It gets hot.

So that would mean you would be asking these kids to play a 15-game season that ENDS in them playing in 90-degree weather in high humidity.

That is a RECIPE for injuries.

Again, this is all being spun as an attempt to make the players SAFER.

Spring ball would do the exact opposite. There's a reason why Spring practice ends in April and not in June.

Sheep still asleep?

In TN we have had 13 people die in the college age range out of 1200 deaths. Actual breakdown is from 11-30 years old.

Must be something in the water as we are overweight , eat high fat and dont exercise much here in the promised land.

Everyone can come play in Bristol (UT should have dibs on this even though we have Neyland- UT bama might hit 200K @ Bristol.), Neyland and Titans stadium because apparently its safer here. Vandy can host smaller crowds at their crap stadium

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_at_Bristol

At each venue
1 game on Friday
3 on Saturday
2 on Sunday after church
1 on Thursday and
1 on Monday except when Titans play at home.

Apparently they used to have Alabaama - Auburn doubleheaders at Legion Field in Birmingham in the 70s. Not sure how they pulled that off logistically, unless one game was at 11am and the next was 6pm or so.
