Yes, they may have more speed now but unless we were running in place, no way Michigan has more speed than Florida. Better schematics, I'll give you that.defensively, Michigan has ridiculous speed, more than ever in Ann Arbor. Actually, the influx of Florida recruits(Bush, Metellus) has made a huge difference.
Do you watch games? UF couldn't rush to the edge without 3+ UM players meeting the runner at the LOS, their screens/outside routes were immediately swallowed up, Michigan ran past your tackles multiple times with pure speed on 3 man rushes nearly untouched and their backs burned you around the edge multiple times as did receivers deep, your return men averaged 17 yards on 4 kick returns with one 26 yarder fluffing that up and UM's secondary was stride for stride with your receivers and just didn't get their head around the 1-2 times they got beat or else they would have gone for 6.. If Florida is any "faster" than UM it's marginal at best.. If Florida is faster they certainly didn't care to show it. If you can honestly sit down and watch that game and think Florida is/was the faster team you're delusional and I'm a Rutgers fan btw. Our offenses are about on par..Big ten fans still so envious of sec teams they think shit games like this have anything to do with speed.. we have the worst offense and OC in the country every year, with soft OL... We are again one of the worst teams in the nation on offense for the 8th straight year

Does he watch the games? The dude played and coached D1 football...in the SEC. He's watched more football (film) and breakdowns in a week vs what you will watch in a lifetime.Do you watch games? Speed is a relative thing in football. Line up all our players against all of Michigan's and we probably win more sprints. But Michigan was definitely quicker to the ball, quicker reacting, quicker to their spots. I agree that Michigan is better coached and better prepared, no matter what McElwain says. They beat us up on both lines of scrimmage and where I saw a big difference in speed was at linebacker. Ours were slow and not very good compared to theirs. I'm hoping Michigan is really, really good because that will make the loss seem not quite so bad. But I don't Michigan is an elite, top 5 type team and that we could be in for a long, disappointing season. I hope I'm wrong, but after all the offseason hype about the O-line being the strength of the team and the offense in general being ready to break out, all I saw was more of the same with a drop-off on defense to boot. Makes me pessimistic.Michigan isn't faster. They are just better coached and their players know the system and play with confidence and play with speed. They aren't really faster.
Ha ha ha, you keep thinking that if it makes you feel good. Michigan ran all over you and made you look very slow. When were your WRs wide open? In pregame? Even the completions you had there was a db all over the receiver, the receiver just made a good play on the ball or great catch. You had what 11 yards rushing, yeah great speed! Haha now that's funnyDid youwatch FSU last night? That is speed.
Our WR had ZERO problem separating from your DB. You ain't that fast
LOL BIG 10 speed baby!!!! Complete dominationMichigan isn't faster. They are just better coached and their players know the system and play with confidence and play with speed. They aren't really faster.
Not to mention all the 3rd down conversions by the backs and multiple times where the receivers (and even a tight end) burned the UF secondary.
Florida looked slow in comparison.
SEC Speed and 11 yards rushing.

Was Michigan better, well hell yes. Faster? Who knows. Who cares. We suck regardless of speed/ no speed.
