Did he not have a binding contract with Temple? Who am I kidding, coaches never honor those things.
They bought him out LOL for like 4 mill or something i believe. If true Miami got screwed.....and jus took a 2nd head coach from temple.... Hopefully same result
Yep, Temple got $2.5 million on the Geoff Colllins buyout earlier this month and now $4 million on the Diaz buyout so not too shabby......$6.5 million for a few days work, lol.
Don't know much about him. Like Michigan they had good defensive stats before getting blown out in their last game. Is he supposed to be known for recruiting?

I read the 4 million was a drop in the bucket compared to the money they saved from Richt retiring.
Richt retiring the way he did, he left money on the table for Miami to use towards Diaz buyout.
