Well, it's the feast day where the Mass is said for Christ, just like Michaelmas is the feast day where the Mass is said for Michael (really all four archangels; Michael, Raphael, Gabriel and Uriel) on September 29th.
If you mean love your neighbor and so on, well, everybody in here has seen plenty of Christmases, is pretty clear on the "true meaning" and doesn't need to be "reminded" of anything. But thanks for playing.

If people treated each other all year long the way they do around christmas, what a better world it would be. Hope everyone has a great one and a super 2022 to follow.
It was the Pagans celebrating the winter solstice until someone came and murdered them. Lowest day with the sun in the sky so they use to pray that the sun would come back to longer days.
I was going to give a rebuttal about how people don't treat each other better, and how in some aspects it's worse, but decided not to, because it's Christmas. Irony.
Say what you want about the pagans, their prayers were effective. The sun did come back to longer days.
