I am creating a new thread simply because I want to post new information here and the original thread is now way too long. This is where I am going to post information about the status of our donation efforts and logistics for getting you your bourbon. If you are tired of reading about this, please know that I apologize and please move to another more entertaining thread. Believe me, I get it.
So, on Sunday night when I started this, I had no idea how it would be received. Big kudos to @HalleyGator44 and other members of BDI for helping with the bourbon shortfall b/c, like I said, I had NO idea this would blow up and consume my 65-bottle allocation.
You incredible, generous people have donated over $50K. With the match we have given over $100k to MBB NIL! The fundraising match is now over.

So, we are talking over 110 bottles of bourbon
A handful have declined their bourbon (thanks!). I am leaning on @Buje to help me with the logistics as I am just not that smart. We have to reconcile the names on the FV donation list with the usernames here. That is no small task. Time consuming and not fun! We also want to keep people's names private so we will be sending individual PM's rather than posting anything in a general thread. We may even be emailing you directly based on the email address you gave FV. If you have donated, please look for a PM from me and/or @Buje. We initially talked about you picking up your bourbon bottle at a football game next year. I attend most, but not all games, and I don't want to miss anyone. I am also willing to ship these bottles to you at no cost to you. My good friend @Buje will be posting on this thread more general information about how this will all happen. He will DM or email you the info and process. He will be sending you guys a "ticket" if you are coming by the tailgate where you can redeem it for your bottle. I don't want to get into the situation (sad in today's world) where I get scammed by someone saying they are one of my donors and they walk away with your bourbon.
I am looking forward to meeting you at a tailgate next year! For those who want to remain 100% private and who did not provide contact information to FV, please accept my sincerest thanks for your donation.
I know this is all complicated, and I apologize. I just was not prepared for this. But please also know how grateful I am. I spoke with Coach Todd last night post-game and he thought I was kidding him when I told him the amounts we have raised for his kick-a$$ team. He was extremely grateful and wanted me to let you all know that this is very, very helpful. He kept saying "Gator Nation is amazing."
