today's special day.
Today is the birth anniversary of the late President Lyndon B. Johnson.
August 27th.
I wasn't alive during his presidency but have read some about him.
But I remember MDVOL wasn't/isn't a fan of LBJ.
I'm sure MDVOL will remember him today.

The boys and I could have wrapped Vietnam in a couple weeks without the micromanagement of LBJ.

The first 400 doggies on the ground in 1965 killed 1200 Kong in 48 hours. I was USAF.
