Needs a dynamic QB desperately.
While offense returns, which is usually good...and can be, with competent QB play. Trying not to forget about winning enough to win the East two years running...but yes, even with that, we are so far from the upper echelon teams that there is real concern.
All likely solved with a star QB.

I am still waiting on all the "Fun" he spoke about just a few weeks back. He stated in an interview that they would start running stuff that Coach Spurrier use to run. I haven't seen one single play, not one. I am not going to blame Coach Mac 100% but I do know as a previous person who has helped Coached this game that a Head Coach must surround himself with assistants that will help the program succeed. The assistants that are on staff currently, nope, not going to happen. Coach Mac best just on Charlie Strong after this season is over with and bring him back because he knew how to run a defense. We all know what the problem is with the offense but once again him and Nuss are too close of friends that he would rather lose his job than to fire his friend!!!!! Maybe the boosters can pressure the AD to get rid of Nuss. I don't know what can be done but I do know Coach Mac has to surround himself with assistants that will succeed which he just does not have currently....
I'm not totally disagreeing but (and I hated the call) the fake punt was "brave and bold."
I'll never forget Meyer's first bowl game here against Iowa where we went for a fake punt in a similar field position and got it.
That was a close game. Had we failed, they would have won that game.
it's starting to get great competition, and Collins is going to be a huge part of that. He's awful
i know that even the most casual fan had to spot today the entire game we didn't even try on defense the entire game with scheme, had to realize that Florida is never walking up pressure even for show to scare the QB and never once, sent one. Does anyone else realize that we are playing the type of defense teams playing in pre season and spring games against the highest level of competition in college football? I've never been more sick that all my fears have come true for Floridas only jewel, the defense being coached by a loser...

Find the article by his CSU OC Baldwin. He was the wide open, up-tempo guy at CSU, not Mac. This is Mac's offense, period.
Yeah, let's fire the guy after 2 his first 2 years, in which he got us to the SEC title game both times. And if the next guy doesn't win the national title in 2 years, let's fire him, too. Everyone realizes he won't be fired til midseason next year. The offensive system doesn't work, recruiting sucks, and this has nothing to do with the Bama game. Our redzone offense is the worst in the nation, behind 100 teams with less talent than us. We still look desperate grabbing at every transfer QB available. We are in a VERY bad spot right now. We need a complete overhaul. This is simply an extension of Chump minus a lights out defense and decent recruiting. Mac is 0-2 v. FSU and was not competitive either time. Same for Bama. We are a long ways feom being a top team without drastic changes. But when we roll out with Nuss and LDR next year, enjoy the shitshow again, it'll be awesome!!!

With how our defense has been against the run lately it wouldnt surprise me if a team with that type of offense could give us a run right now. I bet Navy would probably beat us right now and would run all over us in the 2nd half of a game.

Hell, why doesn't the UAA finally wise up and hire Michi, numbers, dunny, and 4-5 others to coach the team. I KNOW that they would do a much better job than any of the idiot coaches that Fooley ever hired while he ran the Gator program like a total tyrant dic-tater....

College football is a freakin' game, played by boys, on a Saturday afternoon.
It is NOTHING in the big scheme of things going on in the world.

I would have given us a much better chance yesterday on defense alone, i probably would have uh you know.... maybe blitz a team at least once that runs everything around the LOS with a running qb and throws most passes 1 yard.
