Michigan’s game against Maryland was canceled after the Wolverines suspended team activities Wednesday because of an outbreak of COVID-19 that could also threaten their rivalry game against Ohio State on Dec. 12 and the Buckeyes’ chances to play for a Big Ten title.

Ohio State had to cancel its game last week at Illinois because of a spike in COVID-19 cases in its program. It was the second game the Buckeyes (4-0) have lost from their regular-season schedule - Maryland on Nov 14th the other one.

One more canceled game would leave them unable to reach the conference-mandated minimum to be eligible for the Big Ten championship game.

If Michigan vs OSU doesn't happen & OSU falls below minimum number of games to play for B1G Championship its hard to believe that CFP committee could justify extending an invitation to OSU.

MeatChicken is having a worse season than FSU. They're obviously stealing pages from the Nole textbook. I never imagined MeatChicken would have a season so bad even under Jim Harbaugh.

Lol...Michigan is going to screw them by not playing them.
Off season between these two is going to be really fun if that game gets cancelled. Especially if Ohio St can’t play for the Big10 or the CFP LOL

Except we’re rebuilding.

Kinda serves those sanctimonious anoles right. Their little acts of superiority hasn’t gone so well.
