I was hoping to keep Nick Savage.3 for 3 thus far
not that S&C coach matters on the level they come from. You are good or you are not
What happened with Savage to put him in disfavor? You will see mostly all of the ULL coaches get announced first then the other coaches from other places will start to trickle in.
Have you not noticed how our lines have gotten pushed around for years by the better teams on our schedule? What happened with Savage to put him in disfavor?
Good point. We've been getting our arses handed to at the LOS. We need a good S&C coach help those guys get bigger and much more stronger for the season. He excelled at ULL. Can't wait to see what he does in Gainesville.Have you not noticed how our lines have gotten pushed around for years by the better teams on our schedule?

So the players should decide which coaches stay?
Apparently this is one of Napier's messages to the team that it's his way or the highway. So the players should decide which coaches stay?
I wonder if he has a brother named Mike...
Agree. And I think that's why he said he's got a process he's going to follow and he's not going to rush into signing recruits on ESD just to build up numbers. He wants guys who are going to buy into his way of doing things. From the way those ULL players loved him, I would say his "process" works. Just have to trust it will translate into wins in Gainesville.Apparently this is one of Napier's messages to the team that it's his way or the highway.
Well, for starters, he's definitely strengthened and conditioned his beard......hopefully that's a sign of things to come for the fellas' muscle and fitness "gains" 🤣
I think if anything, people liked the name Savage.
But Paco's right. And I'm not sure if it's coaching or not in the trenches, but Savage wasn't doing a great job.
If Napier is comfortable with him and he knows what he wants out of his workout program, then fine.
It's kind of a....throw away position? Obviously it's important but you just never know what you're going to get.
So for instance (and I may have this wrong but work with me) I think Muschamp. Roughy in an Olympic style guy to body build the team into a tougher, larger, more physical team.
What happened? We had an absurd rash of injuries during that time. Mostly knee related if I remember.
I think I'm this situation it has more to do with the HBC having familiarity and a relationship with the SC coach to get what he wants.
