LSU vs OU

This is actually a little comical IMO. They don’t play any defenses in the Big 12. This keeps happening to OU time after time in these playoff games.

I would have to look but I think the GA loss they scored some. LSU does seem to be playing better defense late in the season. I still think Clemson may match up some with them if they get past OSU.

It’s not about OUs offense. It’s about their defense. They don’t play defense in the Big 12 at all. Look how many points they keep giving up.

In all honesty, we seem to be the only team other than Auburn that was able to hold up reasonably well against this LSU team this year. They were the only defense that could hang with them, and our offense was going score for score with them for 3 quarters AT their stadium AT night. This OU team is getting obliterated in only a half of football AT a neutral field.....

I don't think the clempson osU game really matters too much right now. No matter how bad clempson destroys ohiO state, I highly doubt it'll be able to match up with this.

Auburn held them to fewest points. Dawgs held them to fewest yards. You guys gave them all they wanted with your offense. LSU peaking at the right time for sure.

That first half was so damn bad, it was like flashbacks to the SEC championship game this year what with LSU spanking the snotty little team in red for 2 straight quarters without letting up.

The point is, we've known it all year why LSU was so good this year, they finally got EVERYTHING right on the team. Offense, defense, special teams. They have no weaknesses. I'm not sure if we can even say the same about Clempson yet this year. oSU doesn't even deserve mention, they had their shit pushed in for the majority of the BIG?? championship game by a garbage wisconsin team and are the most overrated team in football today.

Actually OU is the most overrated team in football. OU doesn’t and can’t play any defense. They keep getting embarrassed in these playoff games.

OU's defense is actually better than usual. MUCH better. They just have many guys that can't control themselves and are held out of the game or are injured. LSU is out to make a statement in this game like no other game they've played this year so far.

OU beat Baylor twice this year and Baylor is no slouch of a team. osU hasn't beaten a single good team all year however.

When we played them in '08...they were the highest scoring team in CFB history...and didn't get more than 14 on us. OU is notorious for not playing defense...that whole conference is known for not playing defense. In big games...outside of turnovers whoever plays that best defense will win.

I knew OU was going to get killed. I'll say it again...LSU's offense can't be stopped.

We can just agree to disagree. OUs defense may be slightly improved from previous years but that isn’t really saying much at all. Their defense is still trash. The Big 10 is much better than the Big 12 IMO. I’m no Ohio State fan but they have played and beaten better teams.

Disagree on that...Wisconsin, Penn State and Michigan are good teams...maybe not great but to say that they haven't played anyone is inaccurate. Ohio State is a very good team.

Yep and the Big 12 is pretty bad. I think only the ACC may be worse than the Big 12.

Texas hung with them the whole game.

You are entitled to your opinion, but I do not believe any of those teams would be bowl eligible had they played Clempson's schedule. They aren't good, it is a KNOWN fact that the media has a financial interest in making them a marketable product and have been promoting them all season long. After the BIG?? got left out of the CFP last year, ESPN lost so much money from that, they were determined it would never happen again. Hence the overranking of any and all BIG?? creampuffs they can.

Explain how in our first loss to the #1 team in the country, we dropped 4 or 5 spots, but when Minnesota lost it's first game of the year, penis state was it? They only dropped 2 spots and stayed ahead of us. Same situation for both teams though we lost to a much better team, and the BIG?? team was favored in the polls by not having as drastic a drop. The same thing happened to Georgia after it's loss to South Carolina. They got hammered by the poll voters. BIG?? teams have bad losses and they drop 1 or 2 spots though because the media's mandate to make sure they have as many or more ranked teams than The SEC.

They’re on another level this year. They may be the hottest team I’ve seen in a long time. It’s impressive how much better they are playing than they look on paper, which isn’t bad at all

Hmmm I hope you were joking!? Clemson hasn’t seen anybody remotely close to Ohio State this season and it is showing as they are having a hard time adjusting too playing a good team.

On another forum I called at 60-40 LSU win. They laughed at me. Somehow, OU's defense is even worse than I thought they were. lol

Don't worry.
