I thought he was going to collect on insurance for not being able to play again. Hopefully nothing happens with this.

I think we were afraid to let him on the court again. It would be a very bad look to put him back out there and have him collapse again. Even if the doctors said there was almost no chance of it happening again, I can see the "almost" puckering a lot of administrative sphincters.

25 or so years ago, I was in the stands watching my old high school play a game. One of the boys, a sophomore, collapsed & died on the court. It was horrible.

I wish him the best, but if I were the UF administration I don't think I'd let him play either.

Best of luck to him. UF was never going to let him play again, which is the right decision. I hope everything works out. I believe he has a $5M insurance policy that he is foregoing to come back.

In Europe, the insurance companies aren't paying out on life insurance claims for anyone that died shortly after taking the experimental therapeutic (fake vaccine) for Co-V.
Since it is 'experimental and optional,' they say that voids their life insurance.

I don't have a clue if that played into KJ's decision or not, but maybe???
