Seems the article forgot to mention that on average, NFL football players, even the "non white" ones, make $860,000 a year. Which is a heck of a lot more than most other people get paid.

At most, this is business decision for these athletes.

If we want to talk about "systemic racism", 67-73% of all athletes are black. They represent 13% of the population. Whites are 63% of the population and 20% (tops) of the athletes now.

Blacks football players make hundreds of millions from the sport. If they want to walk then the money can go to white (mostly people from nordic or german descent) or others.

I happen to agree with a lot of the moves to take violence out of the game. No need to lead with the helmet. No need to chop block at the line. Etc. etc.
