Jake Fruhmorgen Offensive tackle 4 STARS Plant Tampa, FL RR: 5.9 Ht: 6'5" Wt: 282 lbs Class: 2015 5

Playing time and/or closer to home are usually 2 prime reasons.
I don't know if he is coming, or what his own reasons would be.

you hear about this NC State LB'er from Orlando thinking about transferring

No, but here are some positive's as far as recruiting goes.

ESPN has UF's class currently ranked at #18.
With 6 ESPN 300's, and 12 of those 15 ranked as 4 stars.
Shannon's 2 LB's and the Tampa RB Davis are the 3 stars, (under-rated imo).

ESPN's 'Considering UF' list:
http://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/school/_/id/57/class/2017/page/considering

There are still a lot of top quality uncommitted recruits out there available and holding Gator offers, including a 5 star DT and 36 more ESPN 300 4 stars. How Mc-staff finishes is of course the key.

NSD is coming in 25 days. According to Zach at SEC Country:

Very Likely:

CB Brad Stewart 6-0 194 **** - N.O La

#2 WR James Robinson 6-3 197 **** - Lakeland
==============

Still Possible:

DE Markaviest Bryant 6-5 230 **** - Cordele, Ga
DE Jarez Parks 6-5 255 **** - Sabastian
CB CJ Henderson 6-1 178 **** - Miami
DT Tyrone Truesdell 6-5 325 *** - Augusta, Ga

WR Henry Ruggs III 6-0 175 **** - Montgomery, Al
WR Racey McMath 6-3 215 *** - N.O. La
============

With both of the likely's and just half of the 6 still possible's, UF would have 20.
Get 5 more from the ESPN offers list and it would be a full class of 25, so we'll see.

Recruiting was looking good for a stretch, now with a month to go Blades suddenly has interest in UGa and appears he may be trolling us.

And I would add Truesdell and Henderson into the beey likely category

You've been begging for Blades to drop us for months. You must be getting antsy with only a month to go.

Everyone always thinks their 3 stars are under rated. Its hilarious.

UF will have a top 20 possibly top 12 class if things go well.

I won't bother to go down the entire list of Gator 3 stars that have already performed at the 4-5 star level, but how about just this one guy from 2016.
RT Jawaan Taylor 6-5 340 Fr *** -- He quickly took over the starting RT position and then held it all season. The SEC coaches have already voted him to the Freshman 'All SEC' Team.
And he was recently picked to the ESPN Fr AA Team.

And UF already has a Top 20 class you moron, a month early and with only 15 commits so far. So tell me, how good are those 15, to already get that Top 20 rating?

You aren't hilarious, you are just the same ole reFSUcks wannabee little brother, spewing out your ignorance where you are not needed nor wanted.

So all of ur 3 stars are 4 to 5 star players? Absolutely not. Yes some are very good players. We have had them to. Bjoern werner, Xavier Rhodes, Christian Ponder, and even this year Noonie Murray. I jus think its hilarious when literally EVERY fanbase think their 3 stars are underrated

I said it would finish top 20 possibly top 12. They are 18 now but NSD can change a lot with more people committing or decommitting. U never know

While it's not a large early enrollee class like last year, it at least has 2 of the most needed Big Boys.

DT Kyree Campbell 6-4 320 - Sr season: 62 Tkls, 18 Tkl/loss, 8 Sacks, 4 pass deflections, 2 Ints, and 3 blocked kicks. A Virginia 6A All-State 1st team selection.

OT Kadeem Telfort 6-7 310 - FL 4A Semi-Finals, LB Vosean Joseph's HS teammate in 2015. Alabama offered at the last minute and I didn’t like that. … I told them, ‘It’s a little too late because I’m already committed to Florida,’ but they still offered me.”

TE Kemore Gamble 6-4 220 - FL 8A Champs. Participated in The Opening Miami 2016, and the 7-on-7 All-Star football squad, to the Pylon 7v7 Nationals in Dallas in summer 2016. Rated the #1 TE in FL.

Ath Kadarius Toney 6-0 177 - QB-RB-DB - Sr season: 2,894 yards and 32 TD's through the air, and also ran for 894 yards and 15 TD's, (Combined for 3,788 yards with 47 TD's).
Named the Offensive MVP of the 2016 AL.com All-Coastal Alabama team.

CB Shawn Davis 5-11 190 - A Scout 300
His Top 5 Offers: UF, UA, TN, FSU, & Miami + UGA, LSU, AU, etc.

LB James Houston 6-1 225 - FL 5A State Champ - CB Marco Wilson's teammate.
Offers: UF, AU, TN, LSU, Ark, VU, UK, FSU, Mia, UCF, USF, Mich, Clem, etc.

And as to can Mc-staff recruit and then 'coach um up' or not goes:

True freshmen have made an impact during Jim McElwain's first two seasons in Gainesville as they have achieved the following…

231 total games played
59 starts on offense/defense:

17 total touchdowns
172 rushes for 778 yards for 4.5 ypc
87 receptions for 1,522 yards for 17.5 yds/rec

150 tackles
15.5 tackles-for-loss
5.5 sacks

Also, MLB David Reese and RT Jawaan Taylor were both just 3 star rated, but they were both voted to the FWAA Freshman All-America team anyway. Both were also voted to SEC Freshman All SEC teams. While Reese earned SEC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his performance in Florida's win at LSU while replacing the injured SR MLB Jarrad Davis.
