of foolishness. The opening of Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities", can always be applied to a city or country or world in crisis and this crisis is no exception. It is amazing to see how much good and kindness there is from so many on one end of the spectrum coupled with so much greed or selfishness or lawlessness there is on the other end.

It is heartening to see so many major companies stepping up to pitch in with making needed equipment or providing necessary materials, in addition to so many small businesses or private citizens doing positive things to aid in this "war" effort against a disease and to aid in the fight against economic calamity.

But very disheartening to see people buying up volumes of a commodity in order to price gouge people in need. Or politicians taking advantage of acquired knowledge to stave off huge market losses or politicians trying to further political agendas. Or people brazenly looting store shelves.

The behavior of people during a crisis is a microcosm of the human condition. You see all of it. And the character of people is seldom more demonstrable than during a crisis.

Adversity doesn't create character, it reveals it. President Trump's approval rating is at a record high. Media's approval rating is at a record low.

Please don't assume that most Americans are as dumb as some of the posters here. Most Americans are smart, good people. They know who is responsible for this mess, that's why Trump's numbers are going up, and the dem and media's numbers are going down.
