I met this chick at a bar in Jacksonville who said she went by the name Chris Leak to Joakim Noah or something like that.
She told me about a UF message board. This must not be it.
Is there a good UF board like FSU has that very good Warchant board?

This board used to be pretty interesting and informative but everybody turned on each other in the ongoing debate over whether Muschamp sucked or not (turns out he did). A bunch of our better posters couldn't accept that they were wrong, so they quit posting. Now the board is overrun by Seminoles and obnoxious weirdos with strange axes to grind. I'm sensing that you'll fit right in.
That's my take on it. I imagine that the regulars who left would tell you that they left because the board became "too negative." But most of the negativity was people complaining (justifiably in my view) about the state of the program under Muschamp. I'm sure the team not being great is a reason traffic is down overall, but we had some really good, smart posters who left late in the Muschamp era.
The Alley is the premium UF site on Rivals that is pretty good.
Gator Country is a different free board that is UF intensive and more along the lines of a WARCHANT, where anyone with any sort of dissenting opinions are banned.

Then one day, more people came in that were much more serious about things and the fun started to die.
It's like if your favorite locals bar got over run by tourist and the whole theme changed and then when the tourist left, the bar was never the same.

Please, many of the legendary posters came aboard when Ron Freaking Zook was the head coach.
I guarantee you, Swami, DL, HomoCane, Gecko, BONG, JaxBo/Homer Ghost, Pass, etc etc etc all still die hard Gator fans and aren't off the "bandwagon".
Things in life change. Other priorities take front seat of what was priority.

Their board is mostly horrible. The retardation makes your eyes hurt. Plus the moderators are..well..suffice to say there are almost as many FSU fans that have been permabanned as there are rivals fans.
Plus the whole validation, little brother syndrome.

I got banned from Gatorcountry after posting there for 15 years for pointing out that Muschamp sucks.
I admit I went back with a fake handle and started mouthing idiotic platitudes in support of Muschamp a year later after the majority there FINALLY figured out that he sucked and after they viciously attacked anybody who pointed it out. Eg. "Don't be a NeGator", "I BELIEVE!", "Think positive!" Etc.
They didn't seem to like that very much.
I wish, I can't see most detail past 20 feet. However I can still identify waterfowl 75 yards in the sky, and always spot a nice azz in yoga pants. That's about the extent kf my vision.
I think he got banned for a couple weeks and then said he wouldn't come back. But the negativity crap is what I'm talking about. The arguments started out about Muschamp but, once he went 4-8, removing all doubt as to his awfulness, the narrative changed to: don't be entitled, it's tougher to recruit Florida now, it's not our birthright to be in the SECT game, we're about more than wins, Meyer won dirty now we lose clean... All that crap. BONG was one of the posters who correctly held the UAA accountable for the state of the football team, which was completely unacceptable.
That is not true. A lot of people felt the same way, me included. BONG was a lot like FSU fans. FSU fans will try and turn any thread into one about them and their team. BONG turned any thread into an over the top Muschamp polemic. It got old.
I always say the board reflects the performance of the team. When the team sucks, people are 'negative' and when the team is great the mood is a lot better. 2-3 years back it basically became 'negative nellies' vs. sunshine pumpers and people on both sides left for that reason. Like I used to say back then, when the team is 4-8 or 7-5 idk what there is to be 'positive' about. Its a sports board, so if you're discussing a bad team the opinions are more likely to be negative. Seems like common sense to me. I've never been the type to let this board affect my mood, its an escape just log off and go do something else if you don't like what you're reading.

I just went to take a look see and it's mostly deserted, except for Mad-Doggie and his 2-3 circle jerker buddies. Most of the threads that he starts there have ZERO replies to them, and that's prolly why he's over here running his idiot mouth so much recently.

All I was doing was checking this board out because that girl told me it was cool. I wasn't even sure this was the correct board.
From the little bit I have read here, that sadgator person seems cool. Also the person with bonner in their name doesn't seem like a total douche.
The posters named instagator and Danny whatever seem like they really need a different hobby.
