The inability to correctly judge a variety of things is a non-survival handicap.

I read the Bette Midler piece and was (pleasantly) stunned. Having a Trans-man swim on the Penn teams absolutely takes away from the accomplishments of the women on that program - something that Title IX has fought decades to raise in prominence.
Imagine if Megan Rapinoe were booted from the Women's soccer team because there were 11 more talented trans-men?
I believe (strongly) that individuals of the LQBTQ+ identification should be shown respect and not be the objects of hate speech (of which JK Rowlings or Macy Gray is not), but to obviate notions of gender, is, dare I say, anti-science.
