Is Jesse Palmer the back end side of Kirk Herbie?

We call know Herbie can't control his emotions when he is calling Ohio State games. It is beyond ridiculous and it has been well documented.

But my problem is JP. He tries to control his emotions to the point he comes across as anti Florida. Seriously this past Saturday night he sounded like he was a UK grad and homer. I am all for doing what it takes to be professional and stay neutral but he went overboard.

Meh. I think part of that was them playing up the underdog. Many people thought the streak would end and they just wanted to be on the front end of it. Remember, the vast majority of people watching any game are fans of neither team. Viewers that are not emotionally tied to either team tend to pull for such an underdog.

Once he appeared on "The Bachelor" sadgator had no problem with him distancing himself from being a Gator. Plus he's Canadian...so y'know....

Jessed a bad game and Brent was just awful.

Just awful.....plus, how many times did the director switch to the TREON sideline camera?

THE DRAMA SHOULD COME TO YOU, NETWORKS (like Coach Mac's outburst in the ECU game)....you shouldn't have to contrive drama.

Brent is simply intolerable when he is rooting for an upset.

sadgator's even watched games where he himself is rooting for the upset, and thought to himself that Brent is still too over the top.

Very hard to watch his games without getting pissed.

I don't hear that...JP is pretty fair in his commentating. I think that he does a good job.

Yeah of course...I haven't missed a Gator game in years. I thought he was fair in his calls of the game...I think that he gave each team their due. If you listen to JP when he talked about the Gators sometimes he's slip up and say "we". I like JP calling games I think that he's pretty good honestly but all of these guys have their corks. I'll try and listen to him the next time he calls the Gators though. Daniels is good too but sometimes his 'opinion' goes too far IMO or he will say things that are out right totally wrong but Daniels calls it pretty straight and he has a strong knowledge of the game...he LOVED Tebow...same thing with Prescott...Daniels wants Prescott to be Tebow...lol

I got pissed with him during the LLWS the year Apopka Fl and New York City were playing in the American championship and he was giving New York City the "plucky underdog" treatment and, really, haven't stopped being pissed at him since. Every time he calls a Florida game it renews the disdain and disgust.

I remember that series. I also remember he was talking about the locals back in Apopka were watching the game at a spot called Gators. He couldn't leave it at that. He said something of the line of "But it is plenty of Nole fans in Apopka as well"

I did catch JP say we have a 28 year streak.

It may just be me but that one game he seemed to go out of his way to not side with UF besides the we slip up.
