1. Kids aren’t going to wait and not sign on ESD for Billy to evaluate whether they fit here, they are going to take a spot somewhere else while they can. His pool of recruits is going to be much smaller and we may end of taking kids we wouldn’t anyway, because that’s what is left.
2. if you don’t get decent numbers from recruiting, you are hitting the portal, which is an absolute crap shoot - even Jason says not a sustainable way to be successful. Otherwise, you are talking probation like scholarship numbers.
3. If I hear one more person say he has a plan, every coach hired has a plan, doesn’t make them a genius - if they didn’t have one, you are screwed anyway. Executing a plan at ULL and UF are two totally different different beasts - he wasn’t going up against Nick, Dabo, Kirby, Jimbo for recruits down there.
4. Is the fan base going to accept possibly a few crappy years while this plan is implemented? If the plan doesn’t work, you may be looking at the U level ineptitude for years.
5. Rumor is more kids are going to be hitting the portal, some that we may not want to lose, buckle up because it may get real ugly!!!
