Because Jimbo is a clown who is an average coach but somehow he is landing just ridiculous amounts of talent. I just don't get it

Stressing out the remaining of your young life about decisions made by 18 year olds you will never meet or form a friendship or business venture with.
Seriously I love you passion and enthusiasm but damn bud, you stress over stuff you have absolutely zero control over.

I'll be honest. From about 1999-2003 I was exactly like you. Tracking every word the players, coaches, and recruitniks were saying. From about August to NSD. It was a fun hobby....I thought.
Today I have no idea who the hell Marvin Wilson even is.
Life is so stress free not knowing who these kids are that will have an impact on 1% of my happiness.

That is the bridge connecting upper and lower peninsula of Mich. 5 miles long. Hate deiving across it. About 3.5 hours from me.
And I will not argue Jimbo is a great, possibly best recruiter not named Meyer or Saban. But that said, on the field product is not where it should be considering the recruiting

No doubt he could be a better coach but I will add that there really aren't many all world coaches out there outside of Saban and "Corch Meyers". Urban has shown the ability to tank a game or two as well.

Its only getting worse Danny. Economy is all but gone up there. Personally not a fan.
Naw brother, that was 94-97ish and 05-09 ish.
During the latter part of the 90's people were complaining about #6 ranked recruiting classes and saying Spurrier was resting on his laurels. Bitching when Bowden or David beat him out for a recruit. Bitching when a OOS team signed a top ranked Florida prep. Bitching because Spurrier recruited Jacksonville harder than Dade County. Bitching because Spurrier didn't have an open door to south Fla.
It's all the same. Peak years or not.
FSU exists for football. They have everything a football focused player could ever want. They will be treated like kings in Tallahassee. Teenagers eat that up.
I still don't get this subject of FAMU...Please explain in detail.
I've heard something about FAMU coeds catering to FSU football players.
What I don't get...Why doesn't FAMU sign top notch classes and why depend on FAMU coeds and not FSU coeds.

I call'em how I see them. I MIGHT have a slight affection for run based spreads (Chip, Gus, RichRod, etc) and dual-threat QBs. But other than that I call them how I see them
Walsh (I'm a Niners fan) and of course spurrier are some of my favorites of all time
When i say that too people they are shocked because of my age and the era of football i grew up in, but since i look 8 years younger than i am they never realize the only offenses i played in were pro styles and west coast from middle school all the way through college and semi pro ball...
but the beauty of those offenses is, they are timeless passing trees and you can run them from the gun mixed with the new age running stuff and tempo. Those passing combos and routes never stop being successful, too bad malzahn has never learned this and has a very pedestrian route tree. Chip has more of a passing game out of it but it could still use more work, like Meyer. Herman gave Meyer more of that. Ill probably be running more of what Herman does as an OC with it all mixed together
