TSU vs Jackson State was in my town tonight so I decided to take in the game and not even thinking about Treon Harris playing for them until I got there.
The talent on his team and the talent he is against is worlds difference from what he used to play in so not much can be taken into account.
The guy can scramble. A few plays were designed QB runs but he ran a lot on plays where the WR was covered. Had almost 100 yards rushing. Around 90 or so including a TD run.
He never would have been an All SEC player but our staff never took advantage of his abilities trying to make him a PP.
Oh well not to beat a dead horse but it was interesting seeing an old Gator QB playing.
He didn't put up much numbers in the passing department but lack of quality pass catchers is part of that issue.
Was an ugly undisciplined game but he stood out as one of the better athletes. Not surprising.
