...when LSU beat OSU. J Russell made 100MM that night. I watched the game at the Sheraton hotel on Canal (they used to have an awesome restuarant on the 2nd floor)...city was on fire.

Lmfao...before the game everyone were friends. After the game...people watching I saw 3 fist fights from opposing fans in front of the hotel. Bourbon Street was off the chain, as expected.

If there is one place on this earth that have absolutely zero interest in...its a place like bourbon street. Just not my scene

I was open before and would go back but I'm getting too old for that crap...I'm a man I'm 40!

Can only say that for a few more months.
NO is famous for good looking hos. Last time I was there, I sampled the menu, didn't even try that hard. :) Don't be a try hard, it's not that difficult. LOL

NOLA is a shit hole...they have some good spots and so many good places to eat you can put on 20 lbs in no time. Harrah's is fun...Bourbon Street is fun but you might get shot if you take a side street (no joke)...they cleaned up Canal after Katrina and the downtown area is safter but there are some areas that are dangerous as hell. It's crazy...the worst streets and richest streets are litterally a block away from each other. Just drive down St Charles Street and you'll see it.

In an old dead life, I was interested in what it was all about. However, even when I was more...worldly....it wasn't my scene either. The only thing I liked about New Orleans was the food. There was an amazing crab omelet I wish I could try again.

There are a million good places to eat...the Emerils Restaurants (used to be 4) are bomb.com ...lots of little hole in the wall places.

I will not deny but sounds like majority of southern cities. My hometown Memphis included. Then Birmingham, Miami, Jacksonville, Jackson, StL, Dallas, Houston, Pensacola, Nashville, Louisville, Little Rock, Montgomery, and others are pretty much like this.

sadgator attended Mardi Gras in ‘93. We went to an off-street parade, and sadgator stood in front of a chick sitting on top of her boyfriend’s shoulders with her top off. The people on the floats were throwing all kinds of super cool beads at her that she could not catch and they fell to sadgator. sadgator spend the rest of the evening trading kisses for those beads from drunk hot chicks...

Reflection on that evening from time to time is one the things that makes sadgator’s long-term marriage possible...

Will have to try it next time. Thanks. When I did go years back, it felt like there wasn't a bad place at all to eat at.

I enjoyed my time in NOLA...lived in Orlando for 12 years and grew up near Winter Haven, FL, actually Dundee but nobody hardly knows that hole in the wall is lol. It's between Lake Wales and Haines City...home of the Hornets baby! Lakeland has one of the best high school football programs in the state.

It's funny living out west nobody cares about high school football...when I went to Haines City...Friday night was on fire...place was freaking packed...it was a highlight of the week. Everyone in town was at these high school games...all over Polk County and other places. I imagine it's still packed in a lot of places.

Pensacola is part of my home/native area(pcola, navarre, destin).

I lived in Pensacola for 6 years and the only thing with any merit is the Pensacola Naval Musuem, a couple good restaurants, minor league baseball team, and the downtown historic tour(pretty small). Anything else you might be interested in could be done better in a neighboring town.

I love that part of the state...Seaside, Watercolor and Santa Rosa Beach are awesome...Orange Beach, AL is really nice too.

I think that this is there original spot

800 Tchoupitoulas St.
New Orleans LA, 70130
(504) 528-9393

We had a balsamic vinegar strip of sauce that was 50 years old...literally they put a strip down on your plate to dip your plate to dip your steak in, I think it was $25 each...freaking amazing. Never seen that before but it was really good.

One of my friends was the GM at Delmonico...it's freaking great.

No doubt. I lived in and have family in Blountstown and Marianna. I love going to Destin, Seaside, and Ft Walton. Beautiful area. Navarre Beach is usually my annual destination spot at least once a year.
