But Rashaun Gaulden took a dive on Brandon Powell that was even better than the one Liston took vs Cassius Clay Jr. I will admit, it was pure BS

Watched it on replay.

Powell was pissed off already. Not a single pass thrown his way all day and I have no doubt that he and Gaulden had "Words".
He stuck his arm out to get rid of Gaulden who was probably giving him back some of those guarantees of a Florida victory and if he touched Gaulden's helmet, it was with the force of a fly landing.


It had no outcome on the game( unlike the phantom head slap called on a UT D/T on 4th down that kept the UF game winning drive alive in 2006 and of course, the game winning TD that Jabbar Gaffney never caught in 2000.

Refs sometimes miss calls and players get away with things. Like faking injuries or pretend to be cramping to keep the opposing team from getting on a roll offensively.

It happens. I expect Mr. Ed to appeal Powell's ejection and the SEC to overturn it

But no, targeting gets one suspended for the 1st half of the next game. Not a thrown punch. Last week against UNT Cece threw a punch, was ejected, and did not have to sit out any the UT game.
